Dr Nathan Stewart is a highly qualified Specialist Plastic Surgeon based in West Perth, specialising in cosmetic surgery for the face, breasts, and body and reconstructive surgery for the hands and skin cancers. Known for his patient-centred approach, he consistently achieves exceptional results tailored to individual needs.
Dr Nathan Stewart graduated with degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Western Australia in 2001.
He pursued further education while working as a junior doctor, and in 2006 he obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy from the University of Western Australia.
After receiving his Post Graduate Diploma, he moved to Sydney in 2007 to complete the Master of Surgery Program. Here he studied alongside the research team at Westmead Hospital investigating the role of white blood cells in wound healing.
Dr Stewart graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 2001. While working as a junior doctor, he pursued further studies and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy from UWA in 2006.
In 2007, he moved to Sydney to complete a Master of Surgery (MS) at the University of Sydney. During this time, he worked with the research team at Westmead Hospital, investigating the role of white blood cells in wound healing.
In 2009, Dr Stewart returned to Perth to undertake five years of comprehensive specialist training at Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and Princess Margaret Hospital. In 2015, he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, officially becoming a Specialist Plastic Surgeon.
Dr Stewart further advanced his expertise with post-fellowship training at the renowned St Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns in the United Kingdom before returning to Perth in 2016 to join the Western Australian Plastic Surgery Centre.
Dr Stewart is also a Consultant Specialist Plastic Surgeon at Royal Perth Hospital and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, as well as being the current supervisor of training for plastic surgery trainees at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. His extensive training and experience allow him to provide cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery care. He is dedicated to achieving optimal patient outcomes through meticulous surgical techniques and a personalised approach.
